Team Factory Connection rider Michael Byrne will miss another race this weekend at Budds Creek due to his chronic ankle injury.  Michael had another surgery after Mt. Morris (where he still placed tenth) to see why pain still existed in his ankle.  After the surgery he was told it look like a minimum of two weeks prior to riding.

Michael said, “I've been off the bike since the surgery in which they checked out the ligaments and said no stitching was required.  This in turn meant after two weeks things should start feeling better.  Up to this point I’ve been just working on weights and now that the ankle is beginning to feel pain free I’m looking at beginning the cardio and riding again.”

“I will miss Budds Creek but I’m planning on riding Red Bud”
