The World
Cup Race was an awesome event. I'm so glad that Glen Helen went ahead and
held a race for the Europeans that had already come over here to race in the
Motocross DE Nations.
It was a lot of fun riding the Honda CR 250 again since not riding one since
January. The first race went really good, I got a good start and put the
pressure on James Dobb for 3rd until I lost my rear brake. After losing my rear
brake on the hill, I ended up finishing in 9th place. It was not the kind of
the start to the day I was hoping for. The 2nd and 3rd moto's, I nailed good
starts and put some solid laps in. I was very happy to place 4th in both motos.
I'm just stoked that Australia won as we have never won a world motocross teams
event before and I'm so proud to have been part of that. I am looking forward
to a productive off-season and racing in Europe for a bit, we’ll keep you
posted.
