Ok Michael Let’s Here about the San Francisco Race.
Recap:
Michael pulled the holeshot in the main event aboard his Chevy Trucks
Kawasaki KX250 and had a heated but abbreviated battle with Grant Langston
prior to crashing. Michael remounted
and fought his way back to a 10th position finish.
Burner: “Yeah, San Fran wasn't the best of finishes for me. I know if I hadn't gone down when I did the results would have been different for sure! I feel there has been a lot of unnecessary hype regarding the Langston/Byrne saga. I would like to say and have people understand that it was the AMA that decided to dock points from Grant Langston for the incident with me and not Kawi or myself. “
Here’s how Michael crashed. “Grants handle bar got caught on my jersey during the race and the tough blocks came into play and I went down.”
“These things happen in racing and no one got hurt (which nobody ever wants). I’m over it and just want to get on with focusing on doing my job and having fun out there. There's always next week and I am looking forward to racing and getting another great start off the gate at Reliant Stadium on my Chevy Trucks Kawasaki.”
See you at Houston!
